AI Film Fest Amsterdam Presents: Android Dreams

On Saturday, October 4th, 13:00–17:00, Droog becomes the stage for AI Film Fest Amsterdam, showcasing visions of utopian and dystopian futures through AI storytelling. The event will feature some of the best A.I. filmmakers from around the world including the big winner from A.I. Film Fest Amsterdam 2025: KUCHIKAME by artist Alexander Garnier.

PROGRAM:

• 13:00–14:00: A.I. Short Film Screening

• 14:00–15:00: Panel discussion featuring award-winning A.I. filmmaker Alexander Garnier, members of the Prompt Club and founders of Artifex Lab who will be joining us from Paris. The panel will be led by Massimo Benvegnú & Asad Ayub from MadHatter Studios.

• 15:00–17:00: A.I. Film Workshop: A hands-on deep dive into prompting for images, video, and sound— with an emphasis on A.I. filmmaking tools from Google.

Alexander Garnier’s work unfolds in a quiet, symbiotic flow—merging generative art with the patience of craftsmanship, blending reflections with pixels. Motion is carved from algorithms, light is shaped into matter, and perception is bent through tools that collect sensations like fragments of memory. KUCHIKAME emerges from this fusion. Its conceptual framework, rooted in themes of memory, food, and identity, was shaped with the aid of AI brainstorming and narrative tools.
